BE. FOR. exists to raise funds for the working poor, the incarcerated, and the fathers in The 10. What if we could BE. FOR. new moments of joy, new chances of hope, and new opportunities of connection? Our goal is to raise $150,000 by November 30th. Will you join us?

We have two hopes for you in this campaign: 1. Fund it. 2. Wear it. One of the best ways to be for these causes is to leverage your social capital to advocate and encourage others toward this effort. Join us in donating and wearing the gear to get the word out.

Three Causes. One Goal.

Holiday Gift Mart

The Holiday Gift Mart comes alongside families in The 10 and gives them a dignified way to provide gifts for their children this Christmas. They do this in partnership with local school districts and this year marks the 11th year of the Holiday Gift Mart. They have a great relationship with the school communities and staff at seven different schools in Addison, Hanover Park, and Glendale Heights.

Parents will be able to come and purchase gifts normally retailed from $10-$20, for only $2 each. These proceeds will then go back into their schools. We have served thousands of families over the last 10 years and we can’t wait to bless more families this year!

 

Philemon House

Philemon House exists to house, educate and disciple young men coming out of incarceration. As a Christian organization, we believe there is very little help for young men coming out of incarceration and we feel the burden from God to help. Our goal is to provide training and modified behavior guidance for recruited residents in the following five key areas: Spiritual, Personal, Financial, Educational, and Occupational.

 

Fathers In The 10

We believe that a child’s relationship with their father is pivotal in their upbringing. That’s why we are raising money to send fathers in The 10 to camp with their child for four days for a unique opportunity of uninterrupted one-on-one time.
